The club F.C. Podiş Ineşti played 2006/2007 for the first time in Divizia B Nord. After two seasons they gained promotion to Divizia A where they finished 2nd after 2008/2009 season. Viitorul Orhei was only one point better and was promoted to Divizia Naţională. The club name Podiş comes from a plateau near the village.

Ineşti is a village off the main street from Chişinău to Bălţi. Direclty on the beginning of the village one can find the grass pitch of Podiş Ineşti. The pitch has a small building but no terraces around.
