F.C. Costuleni won the Divizia B Nord group in 2008/2009 (without loosing a single match) and promoted to Divizia A. The club comes from the small village Costuleni, which lies on the street Ungheni-Nisporeni, 18 kilometres from Ungheni. There are only 3,200 inhabitants in Costuleni.

The Stadionul Costuleni is a simple gras pitch right on the main street of the village. There is a small grass wall but it belongs more to the street than to the ground as it is seperated from the pitch by several trees.
