Achievements:
Divizia Naţională: -

The club was founded in 2000 in Chişinău and followed the name of the first statal organization of the geto-dacic tribes under the ruler Burebista (48-50 AD). Although with no surely delimitated boarders, this powerful kingdom can be framed in the space between the Middle Danube (West) and the mouth of the Bug river (East); also from the Forestry Carpathians (North) to the Balcan Mountains (South). The “wolves” were promoted in 2002 to the first league and had to rent themselves the national stadium as they have no home base. In 2003, Dacia could qualify immediately for the first time for an international tournament. In the Intertoto-Cup they beat G.Í. Gøta from the Faroe Islands and K.F. Partizani Tirana from Albania clearly and were allowed to participate in the third round against F.C. Schalke 04. There, Dacia lost all together with 1:3. However, only two years later, Dacia was qualified to UEFA-Cup to play against F.C. Vaduz from Liechtenstein. There, the blue-yellow team already failed in the first round because F.C. Vaduz won 1:2. Dacia was qualified for Intertoto-Cup again in 2007. They reached absolutely unexpectedly the third round and lost then against the Hamburger S.V. only in the second leg. In the first round, they beat F.K. Baku only in penalty shoot-out. In the second round they lost at home with 0:1 against F.C. St. Gallen. The second leg match in Switzerland will remain unforgettable for many players. One day before the team should arrive in Switzerland, their flight was cancelled. Quickly, plans must be changed and via Istanbul they arrived on matchday in Zurich. The match in St. Gallen was won with 1:0 and in the penalty shoot-out, Dacia made a sensation success. Unexpectedly, they entered the third round where H.S.V. already was waiting.

The meanwhile most often used stadium in the Republic of Moldova is the Stadionul Dinamo in the northern edge of the city centre of Chişinău. You can find the stadium easily by crossing the central park “Grădina Publică Ştefan cel Mare”. Behind the Codru-Hotel and the German Embassy you find the way through Strada Bucureşti. Stadionul Dinamo has 2.692 seats on a uncovered main stand and some rows of seats on the opposite of the pitch. As the name already says, the stadium belongs to the club Dinamo. But Clubul Sportiv Central Dinamo is by now one of the not anymore important clubs of the country, even if it is the club of the Ministry of the Interior. The first league club F.C. Politehnica-U.T.M. Chişinău as well as F.C. Academia and F.C. Beşiktaş Chişinău from the second division use the stadium for their home matches.
