The club was known till summer 2009 as F.C. MIPAN. The board renamed it C.S. MIPAN and decided to play their home matches in Divizia A in the southern village of Sărata-Galbenă, where an artificial pitch exists. However, their base is still in Cartierul Codru.

The Stadionul Codru is a simple grass pitch in a very bad condition. The pitch belongs to the school that is next to it. Beside a small concrete athletic track one can find an old broken iron constuction that once had some wooden bleachers. Even if the pitch is seldom used, it is one of few pitches in the country where the floodlight masts still have lights. Stadionul Codru can be find in Cartierul Codru, which is a settlement outside of Chişinău. It lies surrounded by a wood close to the Airport of Chişinău. The stadium can be found behind a hill close to the Codru-lake which is next to the Lukoil company.
