The club F.C. Maiak Chirsova first appeared in Divizia B Sud in 2007/2008. In 2005/2006 antoher club appeared in the Divizia B Sud, F.C. Rodina Comrat. The club played their home matches in the village Chirsova. After two years they left the league and dissolved.
